Miss Eversman is the daughter of

Barbara Hein and the late Ralph Santarpia.
The couple are both currently employed at Wal-Mart, however Robert is enrolled
in the delayed entry program in the United States Navy. |

We have chosen Walt Disney World as our honeymoon destination and will be spending the week of October 28th-November 3rd on site at Disney World. Due to the small ceremony we will be taking part in, we were able to budget in a getaway to allow time together before Rob's departure to basic training. We'll be staying at Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa - one of the vacation clubs. It's an upgrade from a moderate hotel, and it doesn't seem to be too crowded with busy families. Also, it has the Disney atmosphere and a relaxing feel.
Disney's official site has been very helpful in the planing of the trip (from the flight to meal plans) and they offer a Honeymoon Registry. We have set up a registry for the honeymoon here, but we wish that it be known that we do not ask for gifts of any sort. We merely seek the blessings and warm wishes of our loved ones. However, what we may receive will be forever appreciated.

While we're not sure how many household items we'll be able to take along to the school Rob's sent to, we didn't think it would hurt to figure out an organized set(s) of items that we have yet to buy for life on our own. We have been picking up a few items here and there, and our parents have given us a few necessary pieces, but it takes a lot to fill a home.
Finally, we do understand there are customs and traditions and several different views concerning things like registries, etc, but we also know that our loved ones know us well enough to believe we're not greedy and that we're willing to work hard for the things we get. Many of our friends and family are in similar situations to our own, so we wouldn't ask anything of our loved ones, and we aren't. However, for those who would like to know, we are registered at Target.com. Our specific registry can be found here:
Rob's mother requested that we register at Sears (one of her places of employment) to save her some time. So, here are the few items that are on that list.
Any and all contributions to our future household would be greatly appreciated, but the gesture isn't necessary. We're happy knowing we have the support of the people we care about.
Finally, here are 'Fry and Leela', this journal's namesake. They are characters on the Matt Groening show 'Futurama'. Futurama was one of the first shows Rob and I watched together in its entirety, and I feel like we fell in love as these two did over the course of their few (unfortunate) seasons. They made things seem better for us in comparison, and were a constant source of humor between us. The show in general is very awesome and we love it dearly. We hope for a movie!
